Good times with friends camping and river rafting in class 3 waves in the Ottawa river ! Here's the team... before getting on the boat!

About 6 or 7 other boats going on the same day... though it didn't feel too much like a line-up. Lots of room for everyone.

Eric was set to "slay the dragon" at the front of the raft (non-rafter english translation: spike his paddle in the big wave just as they were to be thrown in his face).

Madhi and Svato smiles abound... even after they both fell in !!

Here's the boat... we're all a little wet from the bonus activities of jumping off a cliff and swimming in light rapids.

We had fun hunting (or rather just finding) sandals all over the place at the end of our trip (we found about 4... and would prob have no problem finding more). They fit our guide perfectly!

After a bunch of dragon slaying... it was time for a break to soak in the sun.

After a nice rafting journey, we took it easy at camp. Here's Alka and Jet having fun discovering all the yummy food everyone brought.

Jet especially liked roasting (or uh, burning!) marshmellows in the firepit. Here is his impression of NY's lady liberty.

Zane and Robyn chillin' out with a beer and watching the flickering flames of our campfire.

And we even made s'mores! Graham cookies, marshmellows and chocolate... tough to beat! We all got pretty creative in coming up with unique preparation / cooking techniques. Eric's snarfling one down hungrily!

And one more toast for such a great weekend full of fun... (some of us were really getting into the drinks and had a little more fun -- note the two cups in Svato's hands!!)
