Turtles! Everyone loves watching turtles swim as they are such graceful swimmers.
This one is taking a nap.
Peek-a-boo! This spotted moray eel is coming out to say hello!
Just don't get too close... The moray eel has a nice smile, but it filled with several rows of teeth (somewhat like a shark) which I hear can be very painful.
Arrow crabs... spider-like crabs with funny red eyes and blue pincers.
Another Arrow Crab hiding inside a sponge.
Lobsters are often found hiding under ledges...
...and are often curious about approaching creatures. Check out the Lobster video for an interesting interaction with a lobster.
This crab was busily eating away -- I was a little wary of getting too close to this big one footer with his huge claws!
This is a hairy sea slug (about 2 foot long and 1/2 foot wide) making its way over the coral.
Could not find any eyes on this slug.
A Bearded Fireworm chomping away at the sea fan coral.
This Conch peering out from under its shell and next to this little tree-like algae makes for a homey setting.
A close up at the bug-eyed conch.
Poor soldier fish is having an embarassing day with a parasite clinging obtrusively onto its forehead.
Even the tiniest animals can be found on the ocean floor if you have a good eye... unfortunately, I'm glad that my camera isn't doing the searching for me seeing how I couldn't get a focused shot of this bright yellow 1mm slug.
An anchor can be hard to miss with all the action around and on it !
Wall Diving, where the bottom is thousands of feet deep below you and you spend your time looking at all the exciting coral on the side of the wall. Tons of critters and fish to see!
Another shot of a dive wall (and my mom!) looking up from below.
Family shot of my parents in their almost natural skin!!
Here I am in my wetsuit... just before a dive -- I can't wait to jump in !
