Ok, here is the crazy ice room. Ice foundation, then a 1" thick (thick??) board of wood, and some deer pelts... and then our individual sleeping bags!!
After that tough adventure, we had to reward ourselves with a traditional Quebec dessert pastry. the Mille Feuille (philo pastry and custard, with a nainaimo bar top!).
