Lots of funny shop signs in Australia. Here's a funny restaurant name.
I wonder if they got a really bad sunburn?
Funny cafe name.
I thought of my brothers when I saw this bar. Funnily enough, the store manager came out to ask me why I was taking pictures of the store, worrying about protecting its patrons... I should have told them that the pics were just part of my usual shenanigans.
I'd hate to go to the unfriendly chemists ("chemist" are pharmacies, but maybe they require further science apprenticeships here.)
This winery had some particular fun labelling their latest wines. Checkout the next few pics to see some of the funny signs they placed on their wine labels.
Police tape that said "It's ok, this is normal". No, unfortunately, they didn't have any for sale.
Funny parking sign on the wine label.
Love this one! Especially after a bottle of wine.
Funny city and town names in Australia like Yallingup and Woolloomooloo ("Can I buy a vowel for the wheel of fortune?!").
Hilarious street name.
Patriotic marketing.. yeah! Give people yet another reason to buy buy buy.
No these aren't mushrooms growing in trees (or so I've been told). These are called gumnuts. Though they are not for eating, they do make a great whistles, similarly to acorn tops. I gave my Aussie friends a lesson and quite suddenly between gumnut whistles and blades of grass, things got a little loud and out of control! What fun!
Funny names for plants even. Have you ever tried to reason with leaves???
I find it interesting and humourous to look at signs from other countries.
They really take their bird feeding seriously, don't they? There must be a black market out there for old ladies who have a deep need to feed the birds somehow.
More new signs to me.
