Another evening shot, with Jeff's sillouette in the background.
During low tide, we found a bunch of these. We thought they were dried up jelly fish. Turns out they were anemonies (live, moving, underwater plants).
Here is an anemonie that is still under water.
The Pacific Rim's Long Beach... it is long, wide, and shallow... and another great place to watch the sunset. In this pictures, you will find logs in the foreground, and surfers walking away on the water's edge.
Another shot of long beach.
Ok, here I am trying to be artsy... did it work?
Jeff calls this one the "Lord of the Flies" shot!
This sign, though it didn't come out too well in the picture, had very dramatic language: "Hazardous Waves can; 1) Sweep you off rocky headlands, 2) Suddenly flood beaches crushing you into moving logs, catching you in currents." Did they have a marketer do this?
And a camping trip cannot be complete without a "Smoky the Bear" sign -- I was thrilled to see a few of these in Tofino (though I had never seen one in Ontario).
