Here is a shot of the New York skyline, as it appeared before the terrorist attack. Without the twin towers, the skyline just doesn't look distinctively like NY anymore.
Here's a church peeking out behind tall commercial offices in downtown NY.
The unmistakeable Statue of Liberty.
?? Bank of America ?? (It was a while ago...)
This a cool cement park which seems to flow benches and fences instead of water along the odd mounds of grass and cobblestone floor.
For a treat and a fun time, the Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde Restaurant is a good place. The drinks have gross names, the decor is equally impressive and food is tasty. As for the cost of food -- it's very expensive -- JUST LIKE ANY RESTAURANT OR FAST FOOD OUTLET IN NEW YORK!!
You'll recognize this type of town house on the Cosby show or Seinfeld. I'll admit that, though I've seen this design in Montreal, I have never seen it anywhere other than New York City. It looks great -- and makes the houses look grand.
Some of these townhouses even have these little walkway area -- not sure what they are for. Basement apartments???
Central Park, NYCity. A beautiful place for an afternoon strool, with a nice fountain and lots of great leafy walkways.

The Flatiron building in NYC -- there's one also in Toronto (well, Torontonians, now you know where the architect got the idea!). This is a pretty sexy looking building -- imagine getting the corner office! ;c)
Here's the front door to the very gothic Chryslet Building in NYC. I think it is my favourite skyscraper in NY.
The most memorable sight of New York City are all the yellow cabs -- I bet 50% of the traffic are cabs!!! There are just so many of them.
And for the icing on your cake, what's a trip to New York City, without visiting the drag queens at Lucky Cheng's. Food's not so good, service is entertaining, and the show... well, it's quite a show!
Here's our waiteress (hehe, no this is not a typo)...
